Safe-guard Paste 10% (fenbendazole) Horses: control of pinworms(Oxyuris equi), ascarids(Parascaris equorum), large strongyles(Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), small strongyles, encysted early 3rd stage (hypobiotic) and arteritis caused by fourth stage larvae of Strongylus vulgaris in horses. Oral use in all horses, foal and ponies. 2.3mg/lb (5 mg/kg) 250lbs of body weight corresponds to each marker on the plunger. Has been evaluated for safety in stallions and mare in all stages of gestation.
Beef and Dairy Cattle: treatment and control of intestinal worms (Adult and fourth stage larvae), hookworms, lungworms: adult Dictyocaulus viviparus; Stomach worms: adult brown stomach worms(Ostertagia ostertagi), fourth stage larvae barberpole worms (H. placei) (Haemonchus contortus), small intestinal worms, bankrupt worms and nodular worms(Oesophagostomum radiatum).
One syringe deworms 4 1,000lbs cattle or 4 1,000lbs horses.
